Denise Richards, known for her roles as a Bond Girl, a Playboy model, and a former star of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, is stepping into a new chapter of her life with an upcoming reality show, Denise Richards & Her Wild Things. The show, set to premiere on March 4 on Bravo, will offer a raw and unfiltered look at Richards’ life with her three daughters—Sami, 20, Lola, 19, and Eloise, 13.
In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE, Richards, 54, candidly discusses various aspects of her life, from co-parenting with ex-husband Charlie Sheen to her thoughts on Sami’s OnlyFans career—and even why she decided to join the platform herself.
A New Chapter in Reality TV
The idea of filming a reality show was long in the making, according to Richards and her daughters. “I’ve always said we need a reality show,” Sami revealed. “Anything that went wrong or happened in our family, I would say, ‘Where are the cameras? We need to be filming this.’”
The show promises to highlight their dynamic family life, including sisterly disagreements. “We couldn’t be more different,” Sami said about her relationship with Lola, who recently embraced her Christian faith and was baptized. Lola added, “I love her. We are just walking in completely different paths, and that’s okay.”
Their youngest sister, Eloise, adopted by Richards as an infant, often plays the role of peacemaker. Born with a chromosomal disorder that has caused developmental delays, she has a unique perspective on the family’s interactions. “Sometimes when the girls go at each other, she just raises her eyebrows, and then they laugh and move past it,” Richards shared.
Aaron Phypers, Richards’ current husband, officially adopted Eloise in 2019. “It wasn’t even a decision; it just is. She’s a sweetheart. I love her. I think of her as my own,” he said.
Co-Parenting with Charlie Sheen
Richards also reflected on how her two oldest daughters were affected by her split from Charlie Sheen in 2005, which was highly publicized at the time. “They’ve been through a lot,” she admitted. “I did my best to shelter them. There were times they were upset with me, but I tell them there’s no handbook. I did the best I could under the circumstances.”
Despite their past conflicts, Richards and Sheen have worked to co-parent their children.
Sami’s OnlyFans Journey – And Why Denise Joined Too
One of the biggest surprises in Richards’ parenting journey came when Sami announced she had joined OnlyFans at 18. “I really wanted to get an apartment, and I knew that working at the candy shop I was working at wasn’t going to cut it,” Sami explained. “So I went to the next best thing and made an OnlyFans.”
Her decision stirred controversy, but Richards was quick to defend her daughter. “At first, I didn’t understand what OnlyFans was,” she admitted. “When I saw that she was getting backlash for owning her sexuality and doing what she wanted to do, it upset me as a mom and also as a woman in business.”
In a bold move, Richards decided to open her own OnlyFans account as well. “It’s quite lucrative,” she revealed.
Sami, however, wished her mom had waited a bit before joining. “She started it right after me, but it doesn’t bother me,” she said. Meanwhile, Lola remained indifferent, stating, “Whatever makes her happy.”
What’s Next for Denise Richards?
With Denise Richards & Her Wild Things set to premiere soon, fans will get an inside look at the actress’s unpredictable life. “It’s another crazy chapter,” Richards laughed. “I swear, it’s never calm, ever.”
Despite the ups and downs, one thing remains clear: Richards and her daughters are ready to take on the world—together.
